I struggle with dry lips. It seems no matter how much water I drink or how often I apply products they are always chapped, sore and peeling. It does put me off wearing lipsticks as most of them make the situation worse. And now that life is not so glamorous post children, I don’t wear as much makeup anyway. However, I do adore lipstick and it’s the fastest way to brighten your face and feel more polished, so I was pleased to discover that Jane Iredale’s newest lip product, Triple Luxe Long Lasting Naturally Moist Lipstick is formulated to moisturise, soothe and condition the lips. In fact, it’s called “triple” because the formula ticks three boxes: long lasting, natural and moisturising. It has been formulated with soothing Moringa, Avocado and Sunflower Seed Oils to nourish the lips, along with Tahitian Vanilla and Blackberry to deliver a subtly sweet flavour and fragrance, they certainly feel a treat to apply and smell divine. The formula is also vegan and wheat free.

The finish of these lippies is truly elegant – a creamy matte that looks sophisticated and ‘grown up’. (I think my days of sticky gloss are long gone!) Most of all they really do feel comfortable. I also can’t help but adore the rose gold bullet tube with its magnetic closure – it’s so chic you’ll almost want to show it off with a quick touch up in public. RRP: $62.
