Caitlin Pure Lust Extreme Matte Lipstick

I was first introduced to the Cailyn brand with their fantastic O Wow Brush, which I am still a fan of using when I feel like a polished finish to foundation. And because I do love a statement pout I was super keen to try their new lipstick collection, Cailyn Pure Lust Extreme Matte Tints.

The colours are dense and apply smoothly for continuous colour and coverage that lasts beautifully so you can apply and get on with whatever you’re doing. For the record, I applied mine in a rush on a dark morning while pulled over in a car park and it still looked flawless, so that was an impressive discovery.

Better still, the texture is not sticky and they dry really quickly to a smooth, matte finish. They are waterproof so they last through copious cups of tea or cocktails and don’t bleed at all. When they say ‘extreme matte’ they really do mean it though so it is best used on conditioned lips. I found Cailyn Pure Lust Extreme Matte could dry my lips a little, so when I top it with a glossy lip balm for colour with serious depth that lasts all day.
