I’ve been using a number of Aspect Dr products lately and been impressed with all of them so far. Especially during pregnancy, I have found Aspect Pigment Punch a useful product in my quest to keep hyperpigmentation and melasma at bay. I also recently fell head over high heels for Aspect Fruit Enzyme Mask, so as you can imagine I was excited to try Aspect Dr Resveratrol Moisturising Cream.
It is pitched as a ‘super hydrating moisturising cream that is infused with antioxidants and skin firming peptides’. That alone sounded impressive, but it is also a must as part of an anti-ageing skincare regime. And goodness knows right now I need that. Last weekend someone insinuated I was over 40 and that was a tad upsetting as I still have a few years to go before I reach that milestone AND my man is 5 years younger than me. Looking mature for my age is just not something I am prepared to do. But I digress.Back to my youth enhancing arsenal. 😉
This delicious moisturiser looks like a rich cream, yet it absorbs quickly and leaves my skin instantly soft and comfortable. It has a few key ingredients that help it work its magic:
- ChroNOline™ > Biomimetic peptide proven in vitro to stimulate production of laminin and bronectin by human broblasts. In ex vivo model, stimulated expression of collage VII and laminin-5. In clinical trial, reduced ne lines and wrinkles by 29% in 28 days.
- Mixed Tocopherols 95% > A potent blend of full-spectrum tocopherols and tocotrienols that reduces trans epidermal water loss and strengthen skin’s barrier function.
- Grape Skin Resveratrol > Powerful antioxidant. Improves cell function.
What’s also lovely about this moisturiser is that it can be used day or night and on all skin types – even my pregnancy sensitive skin took to it like a duck to water and that’s saying something. Even better, Aspect Dr’s packaging is flawless – an air-tight pump that dispenses the perfect amount of moisturiser for the face and throat. To make it spread even further I use a little mist of Avene Thermal Spring Water on my fingertips.
After using this cream at night my skin feels and looks plump and fresh in the morning and I have had absolutely no clogged pores or breakouts. It feels as hydrating and nourishing as one would hope and, while I can’t attest to anti-ageing effects just yet, I will be using every last drop.
