Ok, so you might be thinking this is a bit OTT. But hear me out ladies … the Solo Mio is the business.
I love cleansing my skin, but have never been a fan of bristle-brush cleansers. They seemed too rough on my face, pulling it, dragging it and over-exfoliating, plus the bristle heads got dirty quickly and needed replacing, which sucks for the environment and your wallet. So I stuck with goodies like the konjac sponge (which I do still love!), or Jane Iredale’s Magic Mitt (which is also great, but gets dirty looking very quickly). Anyway, a while ago I stumbled on an article recommending Foreo Luna, a sonic cleansing device. It sounded great. But it was super expensive so I decided to dig deeper. And that’s when I heard women literally RAVING about the Solo Mio.
Like Foreo Luna (which I have never tried so I can’t comment on), Solo Mio is a sonic cleanser, which means it uses thousands of pulsations per minute for a deep and thorough facial cleansing. It’s made with FDA Grade silicone and is actually dual purpose in that one side can be used for cleansing and the other side for massaging. Facial massage is sooo good for your skin as it boosts blood circulation to improve skin cell renewal and help keep the face toned and the skin youthful. Plus the Solo Mio is waterproof and rechargeable – and the charge keeps going and going so you can take it away on holidays with no worries about the battery dying on you mid cleanse.
The Solo Mio also has 14 speeds, I tend to use a faster speed around clogged pores or when I need a deeper cleanse and a slower speed on most days. The Solo Mio is angled at the top which makes it ideal for moving the scrubbers around the contours of the nose. And it has a little silicon cap to cover the charging port which means you can be sure you don’t get water in it. The design is simply brilliant.
You can use it daily to remove dirt, impurities and makeup residue and it leaves your skin feeling smooth as silk and more fresh and radiant. True story. AND it’s super cheap on Amazon. You can see from all the excellent reviews that it’s not just me that’s impressed by this fantastic device. If you’re looking to upscale your cleansing on a daily basis – or just when you want to boost an at-home facial, the Solo Mio is the business.
