I’m a believer when it comes to ‘inside out beauty’ so to me my diet is as important as my skin care regime. But of course no diet is perfect and it’s painful to take ALL the supplements you might need to really benefit the skin, so I have long been investing in superfood smoothie boosters. I use a Nutribullet to make daily shakes and smoothies; my favourite is my morning fruit and vege smoothie, which is beetroot, carrot, apple, blueberries and a gold kiwifruit. Divine. It’s the most beautiful berry colour and tastes great, but if I feel I need a good booster, I like to add some superfood goodness.
I recently tried Lifestream Essential Greens+, which has been formulated by superfood specialists to provide all the essential nutrients in a once a day dose. The selection of herbs and nutrients are designed to support the liver, digestive system, give immune support, aid cardiovascular and circulation, assist the nervous system and deliver antioxidant protection. What’s more, Essential Greens+ uses only natural ingredients so there’s no synthetically derived vitamins, artificial flavours, colours or preservatives, which I love. It can be taken with water, or added to a smoothie such as my morning mix.

I recommend giving it a go if your diet is lacking and giving yourself a much needed boost. It’s $35.90 for 10 sachets, $44.90 for 150g, $74.90 for 300g.
