Osmosis Catalyst AC-11 has become one of my all-time favourite skin care products, so I feel chuffed at the brand’s great news that they have secured an official patent on their Catalyst Plus and Catalyst AC-11 for “Systems and methods for preventing cancer and treating skin lesions.” (Patent # 8,642,655)
The Catalyst serums offer an acceleration in skin rejuvenation and repair, using patented formulations with leading scientific findings that positively impact the recovery of damaged DNA. These formulations can build collagen and elastin in the skin, while improving scarring, skin tags, actinic keratosis (some actinic keratoses may develop into a type of skin cancer) and other skin disturbances that relate to DNA damage. As a daily user of this serum, I can vouch that it has made my skin feel plumper, healthier and more even toned.
The Catalyst family uses Zinc Finger Technology™ (ZFT) to repair DNA damage and assist in the production of proteins and antioxidants within the cell. A combination of amino acids and key co-factors improve wound healing, lighten pigmentation, reduce visible capillaries, and stimulate collagen and elastin production through a revolutionary process. The DNA repair is so effective on the skin that it actually prevents UV damage to the skin better than any sunscreen and provides the equivalent to an SPF 14.
I believe my pigmentation has softened since using the product and I don’t break out like I used to. It is an absolute blessing to not have to cover pimples every day.
At $198 the serums don’t come cheap, but as I wear my face every single day it is far bettr an investment than clothing in my opinion. My father had a skin melanoma on his face and I am extremely cautious about sun damage to my extremely fair, English complexion, so if this can help further protect my skin from sun damage it is absolutely a worthwhile product to use diligently.
