Ewww. Just ewww. That’s how I would describe my skin a couple of weeks ago, which is a tad annoying, because hellooo, I’m a beauty editor and I have ten tonnes of amazing top notch products at my fingerstips to keep my skin in condition. But winter has kicked in pretty hard with some icy winds and sure enough, no matter that I moisturise four times a day (is my skin spoiled much?) the old face is looking, well – old, dry and flakey. Quelle horreur.
Also, while rifling through my bathroom cabinets for something to fix me asap, I noticed most of my masks were clay based and/or exfoliating, which was not what I wanted to use on my skin. Not. At. All. I wanted and needed intense hydration.
Then my prayers were answered when I got sent this product to trial. It’s really good. Soothes – immediately. It’s thick and creamy and slathered onto a parched complexion, which gobbles it up, it can be left on all day if you like. Yes, I work from home and can do this sort of thing. They say, ‘It’s a deep tissue hydrating mask which energises your skin and with organic and mineral components that boost skin’s moisture for hours and promotes cell oxygenation, firmness and skin uniformity.’
What I know is it quenches that winter thirst from my skin, restores softness and provides relief from that awful tight feeling. Slather some on quickly!
